About the Book
The Shattered Ceiling, is a collection of ten interviews that I have done of eminent women pioneers in Indian Industry. These women have shared their leadership story and their rise up the corporate ladder, for the very first time. Each interview is accompanied by a resume of the lady and a synopsis of the important points called “My Take”.
I have been fortunate that all the ladies have unreservedly answered all my questions on how to balance work life, how to choose career, how to hold onto their own strength at the workplace, whether marriage and career can mix.
Each reader, irrespective of her status will find valuable nuggets to navigate her career in this chaotic world. Their needs are different from men, with regard to satisfiers, motivators, rewards and representation, therefore they need a book written by a woman on female role models.
About the Author
Geet Jalota is a Trainer and an HR professional who has authored many books facilitate career growth of women. In her 3 decades career solving people problems, and finding “Right” people for jobs, she has helped over 20K+ people improve their performance. Having interviewed innumerable candidates and worked in multiple cities, she has observed behaviour in different cultural contexts and therefore best poised to help people iron out their behavioural issues.
Geet is an alumnus of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Deonar and Commerce Department of Delhi University and member of Indian Society of Training & Development. She is on a mission to create Indian Working Woman 2.0
